Flash Radio Live Music Fundraiser

The Flash Radio Live Music Fundraiser presenting three great artists in the main bar of The Jolly Sailor in Southsea on Sunday 14th September.

The show starts at 5.00pm with international singer/songwriter Stacy Gabel, followed by local music from Mark Handley & Maverick. Entry will be free, but bring lots of change as we will be raising funds for our local community radio station.

Stacy Gabel is a much loved singer/songwriter from across the pond in Pennsylvania, and her stunning theatrically trained voice is used to great effect when performing her own catchy and uplifting songs that will stay in your head long after her performance. Stacy will be singing a wide selection of classic singalong songs through the decades, and some of her own uplifting and catchy songs. www.stacygabel.com

Mark Handley is a prolific singer/songwriter who recently moved from Hayling to Portsmouth. Mark can often be seen busking at town centres throughout the area, and his upbeat songs will make you feel great and get your feet tapping. Mark has written songs about almost every subject you could mention, from supporting the NHS, Pirates, and spending Christmas at Poundland!.

‘Maverick’ is the music project of Havant based singer/songwriter & guitarist Crawford Scannell. Crawford is very much inspired by rock n’ roll from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s and is guaranteed to rock your socks off!

The Flash is a not for profit community radio station serving south-east Hampshire on DAB+, and can also be heard worldwide via the TuneIn App and our website . We are run entirely by volunteers and promote the talents of local unsigned bands, musicians, and singer/songwriters across south-east Hampshire. We also celebrate all that is positive in our local communities.
